In partnership with St. Charles County Parks, join us for an orienteering event at Indian Camp Creek on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 1pm. See details below.
Get out this fall to an orienteering meet at Indian Camp Creek park. Orienteering is the sport of using a map and compass to navigate throughout the park to find specific locations (called controls). With the trail network at Indian Camp Creek and varied terrain, you will have the opportunity to make route decisions based on the adventure you wish to experience.
There will be a variety of courses setup to support both new orienteers and children as well as seasoned competitors. If you've never orienteered before, there will be a short "how to" to get you started. Maps are provided and compasses can be borrowed if you don't have your own. Just dress appropriately for the weather and bring you sense of adventure.
