It was a warm and wonderful evening of “flashlight” fun once again in Kirkwood City Park. We had another great turn out for a SLOC classic – our annual family-friendly night-o at the David Frei Memorial Meet. This year’s course map was a David Frei “original” map from years of old, with a few minor updates due to park changes over time. What a joy to welcome returning regulars as well as many new faces to the challenging and fun sport of orienteering. It truly makes this meet special. A big thanks to our SLOC volunteers – Yvonne Deyo for map making, course vetting and all things needed, Carrie Sona for registration, scoring and clean up, as well as Mark Geldmeier for scoring, teaching new participants and general vibing with everyone. Special thanks to the 100+ orienteers who shared your time and positive energy with us. Results are below to the best of our abilities. We are missing some data due to missing punch card “souvenirs”, but feel free to contact SLOC for updates/corrections.
