2020-08-30 Forest Park Sprint Results

Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the Forest Park sprint this last weekend. The weather was nice, so I heard the crowds were out (and a minor obstruction at times) but luckily all of the controls remained in place all weekend. I had hoped to have some route decisions, and based on some of the strava routes I saw, lots of participants made different choices.

Here are the results I have as of 9/1/20. I know there are more! Let me know and I’ll get them added.

2020-02-29 Tame the Dragon 8hr Rogaine

Wow, what a gorgeous day to play in the woods. What started off with below freezing temps turned out to be in the mid 50s by the end. The woods were perfect, open, hilly, and filled with lots of armadillos!

Congrats to Eric and John for the overall win! And congrats to everyone for making it back to HQ! Seems simple, but towards the end of 8 hours it becomes a lot more challenging!

A HUGE thank you to Gary for such an awesome course that ended up not being clearable. There were lots of route choices and chances to make mistakes.

2020-02-08 Winter O

Rockwoods Range and Scott Shaw are a tough combination. Which everyone was excited about. With a chilly mass start, everyone was sent off on a “dogbone” course with a 3 hour limit. Everyone headed in multiple directions but everyone found a hill or two to climb! Thanks to Scott for designing, setting, and running the meet. And thanks to all who helped during the morning and picking up controls.
